Harry D. Pevos’ career in accounting started in 1981 as a CPA within small privately-owned accounting firms located in Southeast Michigan. In 1990, he formed his own business and set out to help other entrepreneurs realize their goals and dreams. Today, he has over 26 years experience in accounting, financial services, and taxation specializing in small business startups and day-to-day accounting operations.
Between 1999 and 2002, Mr. Pevos was a member on the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce taxation committee. His contributions helped shape Michigan’s tax laws, including the Michigan Single Business Tax Reform in 2000.
Mr. Pevos graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oakland University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Management. He earned his Masters of Business Taxation in 1993 from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Pevos is also a licensed Series 7 and Series 63 Securities broker in the State of Michigan and is a Registered Investment Advisor. Mr. Pevos is currently working toward his Health and Life Insurance license and hopes to receive State of Michigan licensing by the end of 2005.
Mr. Pevos is currently a member in good standing with the Detroit Regional, Southfield, and West Bloomfield Chambers of Commerce. He is a Member of the Entrepreneurs’ Network of Michigan. He also serves as the treasurer for Pro-Musical and is affiliated the Tuesday Musicale of Detroit.
In his spare time, Mr. Pevos enjoys playing classical music and is an accomplished amateur pianist. He currently resides in Birmingham, Michigan.
